--- title: "How to delete your workspace or a publication" updated: 2025-10-15 --- # How to delete your workspace or a publication Every beehiiv account includes a workspace where you can manage your [publications](https://www.beehiiv.com/support/article/14492955390871), [team members](https://www.beehiiv.com/support/article/9362967481367), billing details, API access, and more. All accounts can create multiple publications — with the exact number [depending on your plan type](https://www.beehiiv.com/support/article/23874462928663). If needed, you can delete individual publications or your entire workspace. This article walks you through both options. > **Tech Note** > > If you want to [delete your entire beehiiv account](https://www.beehiiv.com/support/article/32057514798231), you must first delete or transfer ownership of all workspaces you own. --- ## How to delete a publication from your workspace 1. Click the **Settings** icon in the bottom-left corner of your account.   2. Your publication settings will open in the left panel. Navigate to the **All Publications** section, where your publications are listed. You’ll be asked to confirm your choice, noting that deleting the publication will also delete any subscribers, segments, and data that may be associated with it.  Type the name of the publication in the field to confirm, then click on **Delete**. ![](https://beehiivhelp.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/32056703868055) 5. A confirmation message will briefly appear at the top of your screen, indicating that the deletion process has been activated. After a few moments, the page will refresh, and the deleted publication will no longer appear under Publications. ![](https://beehiivhelp.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/32056703868823) --- ## How to delete your workspace (and all publications) > **Important Notice** > > Prior to deleting your account or workspace, make sure that you have [removed any custom domain records](https://www.beehiiv.com/support/article/28253481111703-how-to-remove-a-custom-domain) tied to your publications or website. This will ensure that you will not have any issue reconnecting the domain in the future. 1. Click the **Settings** icon in the bottom-left corner of your account.   2. Your settings will open in the left panel. Scroll down to the **Delete Workspace** section and click **Delete Workspace**. > **Reminder** > > Deleting a Workspace will permanently remove all associated beehiiv publications and team members. ![](https://beehiivhelp.zendesk.com/hc/article_attachments/32056703869335) 4. A confirmation prompt will appear informing you that deleting the workspace will delete all of the publications under the workspace and that the action is irreversible and cannot be undone.
