Claiming your podcast on Spotify for Creators

If you host your podcast with beehiiv, you can claim your show on Spotify for Creators to access listener analytics, episode enhancements, and more.

Tech Note: A show can only be claimed once on Spotify for Creators. If your podcast has already been claimed by someone else, you'll need to contact the existing account owner to transfer access.

What you can do after claiming your show

Claiming your podcast on Spotify for Creators gives you access to:

  • Read and respond to listener comments on your episodes.
  • Enhance episodes with videos and polls.
  • View detailed analytics.
  • Add trailers, previews, transcripts, chapters, and more.
  • Set up synced feeds for premium content.
  • Upload video versions of your episodes directly in Spotify for Creators.
Before you begin: You'll need your podcast's RSS feed URL or Spotify show URL to complete the claim process.

Claiming your podcast

If you're new to Spotify for Creators

  1. Go to creators.spotify.com and log in to any Spotify account.
Tech Note: If you don't have a Spotify account, you can create one for free.
  1. Select Find an existing show > Somewhere else.
  2. Enter your podcast's RSS feed URL or Spotify show URL to continue.

If you already manage another podcast on Spotify for Creators

  1. Log in to creators.spotify.com.
  2. Click your avatar or the three lines in the top-right corner, then select Add a new show.
Note: On mobile, tap the arrow at the bottom of the screen to see this option.
  1. Select Find an existing show, then Somewhere else.
  2. Enter your podcast's beehiiv RSS feed URL or Spotify show URL to continue.

Publishing video on Spotify

After claiming your show, you can upload video versions of your episodes directly in Spotify for Creators.

Tech Note: beehiiv does not currently support native video podcast distribution. Video uploads happen manually in Spotify for Creators and are separate from your beehiiv RSS feed. Video episodes are only available to listeners on Spotify, other platforms will continue to receive the audio-only version.
